AI can make you lazy. Socolai makes you sharper.
Anyone can ask AI for the answer. Socolai asks you the questions, so you do the thinking and get better at it every time.
A car travels 120 m in 8 s. How fast is it going?
Good start. Which quantities does the problem give you, and which formula links them?
Distance and time. Speed = distance ÷ time?
Yes! Now try it with your numbers. What do you get?
How it works
Step 1: Show us your problem
Take a photo of your homework or type the question. Maths, chemistry, biology and physics all work.
Step 2: Answer a small question
Socolai does not hand over the answer. It asks one small question at a time to get you moving.
Step 3: Get unstuck, not told
Still stuck? Ask for a hint. Hints get a little more helpful each time, but you do the thinking.
Step 4: Write or draw it out
Use the handwriting pad to show your working. Socolai reads it and responds to what you wrote.
Try it yourself
A short example of how Socolai guides you. It is a scripted demo: nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is saved.
Solve 3x + 5 = 20.
Socolai: We want x on its own. What could we do first to both sides?
Choose your answer
Four subjects to start
Built for school and exam courses such as Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level.
Maths
Algebra, graphs, geometry, and the working behind each step.
Chemistry
Moles, bonding, reactions and the rules that connect them.
Biology
Cells, body systems, genes and how living things work.
Physics
Forces, energy, waves and electricity, one idea at a time.
A study plan built around your goal
Soon, you will be able to set a goal, like a university course you want to get into. Socolai will build a plan to get you there, with study times you agree to keep.
Set your goal
Short or long term. Parents can help you think it through.
Build your profile
A few questions about what you know and how you like to learn.
Follow your pathway
A step-by-step plan, with scheduled sessions you commit to.
Example only
What a pathway could look like
Goal: study a health science degree
- Weeks 1–4: biology and chemistry basics
- Weeks 5–8: physics for life science
- Weeks 9–12: practice problems and review
This is an illustration of the idea. It is not ready yet, and it is not connected to any university.
For parents
Socolai is made for young learners, so we keep things simple and open.
Learning, not shortcuts
Your child works through the thinking. Socolai does not give away answers.
You help shape the plan
For study pathways, parents will help set goals and review the profile.

Questions
Does Socolai just give me the answer?
No. It asks questions and gives hints that grow a little each time. The goal is that you work out the answer yourself.
Which subjects can I use it for?
Maths, chemistry, biology and physics. It is built for school and exam courses like Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. It can make mistakes or misread a photo. Always check important work with your teacher or textbook.
Is it free?
Yes, during early access. We will publish any prices before we charge anyone.
Do I need an account?
